1. About GarageSense

GarageSense is operated by Orange Labs Ltd and is an independent mobile application and website providing UK vehicle information, MOT history access, tax estimates, reminders, vehicle data snapshots, and AI-generated insights.

GarageSense is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to:

• The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA)
• The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA)
• The UK Government

2. Informational Use Only

GarageSense is provided for informational purposes only. Vehicle data, tax calculations, MOT insights, predictions, risk scores, cost estimates, and AI-generated content are not a substitute for professional mechanical, legal, financial, or safety advice.

You are solely responsible for verifying information before making decisions relating to vehicle purchase, maintenance, taxation, roadworthiness, or repairs.

3. Third-Party Data Sources

GarageSense displays vehicle information retrieved from official and licensed third-party data providers, including public UK government sources.

We do not control these data sources and cannot guarantee that data is accurate, complete, current, or free from errors. Information may not reflect real-time updates.

4. MOT Predictions & Cost Estimates

GarageSense may provide predicted MOT pass probabilities, risk scores, estimated repair costs, and AI-generated explanations.

These outputs are generated using automated statistical modelling and historical data analysis.

• They do not guarantee that a vehicle will pass or fail an MOT
• They do not represent repair quotations
• They should not replace professional inspection

Actual MOT outcomes and repair costs may vary significantly.

5. AI-Generated Insights

GarageSense uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to generate diagnostic insights and explanations.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific vehicle. Always consult a qualified professional before undertaking repairs.

6. Accounts & Guest Access

GarageSense may be used in guest mode or with a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Guest mode functionality is associated with a device-specific identifier. Guest data and purchases may be lost if:

• The app is deleted
• The device is reset
• The device is changed

While GarageSense attempts to migrate guest purchases to a registered account, successful migration is not guaranteed.

7. Digital Vehicle Data Unlocks & Credits

GarageSense may offer paid vehicle data “snapshots” or unlocks. These reflect information available at the time of retrieval.

Due to the nature of digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, unlock purchases are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.

Credits may be issued at GarageSense’s discretion where data is unavailable. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

8. Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store account settings.

GarageSense does not process payments directly and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Restoration depends on maintaining access to your Apple ID or Google account.

9. Reminders & Compliance

Reminder tools are provided for convenience only. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring their vehicle is taxed, insured, and MOT compliant.

10. User Content

Users may store service records, notes, and photos within the app. You are responsible for the content you upload. GarageSense does not verify user-submitted information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarageSense and Orange Labs Ltd shall not be liable for loss arising from:

• Reliance on vehicle information or tax estimates
• MOT predictions or cost estimates
• AI-generated insights
• Third-party data inaccuracies
• Reminder functionality

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
